Querying your data in Dataverse – FetchXML, SQL, Data Lake & beyond!

You can query your Dataverse data using FetchXML and OData, but what about if you need larger-scale extracts, complex queries or integrations? Dataverse offers a range of solutions for this too – exporting your data to SQL databases, querying Dataverse’s own SQL database, or using Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse Analytics. In this session Matt Beard & I will showcase the different options that are available, how to get started with them and look at the pros and cons of each solution.

Extending Dataverse with XrmToolBox

A joint session with Mark Carrington to discuss everything XrmToolBox. The session will explain what XrmToolBox is and where it came from, before showing some fantastic examples of how the tool can level up your understanding of Dataverse and really push it to it’s limited. If time allows, the session may also cover how to create your own tool if you notice a functionality gap. This session will have minimal slides, plenty of demos and hopefully lots of interaction/discussion.
