Extracting, Transforming and Loading Data
Extract, transform, load is the general procedure of copying data from one or more sources into a destination system that represents the data differently from the source or in a different context than the source. ETL stands for “extract, transform, and load.” The process plays a key role in data integration strategies and allows businesses to gather data from multiple sources and consolidate it into a single, centralized location.
