SSRS used to be a “go to” tool on a lot of Dynamics CRM, and, later, Power Platform projects. We used it to create reports, and it has been invaluable in developing pixel-perfect print forms. Still, it’s an older technology which was much more relevant in the on-premise environments where we had access to the reporting server, and that’s something we don’t have in the cloud anymore. Turns out there are two great alternative in the cloud: Power BI Paginated reports and Power Automate Word templates. In this session, we will compare SSRS to Power BI Paginated Reports and Word Template, will look at the pros and cons of each, and, will do a quick demo to get an idea of how it all works.
